Hello Fellow Mom! I am trying to figure out if I should plan my family's first WDW vacation myself or higher a travel agent. I am so afraid I will miss something since I'm NOT a WDW expert and our trip is this Nov. What are your recommendations? Thank you

    Denise,

This is the easiest question to answer.

    YES, YES, YES!

You absolutely want to get a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner to help you. As long as you pick one that is a no-fee agency, you are not paying a single extra dime than if you booked directly, and you get so much more. Like what, you ask?

Finding discounts. These people find discounts that the computer system might not. And they can compare them for you to tell you which is the best for you. This applies to package discounts, room rate discounts, free dining, etc.

Making reservations. They will make your advanced dining reservations (and other event reservations) for you. That means no getting up at 5 am on the 180-day mark to try to get that elusive Cinderella's Royal Table reservation!

Planning help. Sure, the Moms Panel can help, but these professionals will also give you some good planning insights. In this case more is better.

There are a lot of other reasons why you should use a no-fee, Disney Authorized Vacation Planner, but frankly these are enough reasons already!

I have a few agencies that I really like, including Mouse Fan Travel, Dreams Unlimited, Be Our Guests Vacations, and here in Carmel where I live we have The Travel Agent. Pick one that you like, and let the planning fun begin!

Oh, and don't forget to keep asking us Moms more questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
