    Hello fellow Hoosier, Sorry couldn't resist! lol My DH, DD (14), DS (4) and I are planning a trip Dec 18-23 we are going to drive,staying in Macon,GA for a night. My question is would you suggest going to a park when we make it in? If so which one?

    Always good to hear from a fellow Hoosier!

    As you probably know, you are visiting at a fairly busy time. And while I would normally suggest you relax on your arrival day, I am going to go against my normal advice this time.

    The parks are going to get busier and busier as your vacation goes along. Based on that, I would go to the Magic Kingdom on your arrival day. Get in there now, before the larger crowds of the week set in. Save parks like Hollywood Studios for days later in your stay, when they are comparably lighter than the Magic Kingdom (though still also very busy).
