Hello fellow Disney lovin moms! Haven't ordered groceries in a long time. Was wondering if it's permitted in DVC studios & where might I find that info? Thanks, single mom on a budget :)

    Hi Michelle!

Ordering groceries is a great way to vacation on a budget. We almost always order groceries, and I often recommend it for families looking to stretch that vacation dollar. You can absolutely have groceries delivered to you at any Disney resort.

If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member staying in at a Deluxe Villa Resort, you can actually order your groceries directly from Disney. You can find grocery lists of available items and order forms on the DVC Member Website.

If you are not a Member, or if you simply prefer, you can order groceries from an outside company. We always order using Garden Grocer. They have an easy to use website, and a large selection of items. You do need to order a minimum of $40 worth of items, but even for a case of water and some breakfast and snack items it is pretty easy to reach that total. We have always had wonderful service from them. They deliver right to Bell Services at your resort who will keep your items cold until your arrival. Once you check-in to your room, you can call Bell Services to bring your items up.

Recently Garden Grocer has offered a discount if you order well in advance, so you might want to check that out if you want to save even more. While I have never used WeGoShop, it is a well known company, and probably the second most commonly used service. You may want to check them out as well.

If you run out of an item or forget something, all resorts that feature Disney Vacation Club Villas offer a small selection of grocery items in the gift shop. Usually you can find milk, juice, cereal, donuts, and a few frozen dinner type items. I have been known to run to the gift shop for a late night Mickey Ice Cream Bar! I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know what other questions you have. We’re here to help!

    Happy Planning!
