Hi fellow Moms! We are booking our second vacation to WDW in Jan/10. We are hoping to stay in Martinique again, however, I am wondering if any rooms on this "island" will be converted to the pirate theme by then. Thanks,

    Ahoy there Kris,

I was just able to see these new pirate rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort this past December. They are in one word SO COOL..ok two words. There is a great detail of imagination and details that went into the designs on everything from the beds, to the shower wall, right down to the carpeting. There are a limited number of these rooms available and they are located in the Trinidad South "island". I do not know of any plans to expand this option to other buildings at the Caribbean Beach Resort, but if they prove to be extremely popular the designers may "set sail for new islands" in the future. Only time will tell. Unfortunately, given the time I am sure it takes for the changes, even if the pirate rooms were to expand to "new shores", I think it is unlikely that they would be available in other locations by January 2010.

Given the limited quantity, my suggestion would be to book yours now in Trinidad South and if Martinique does convert, you could always call back and request that island at a later date. Be sure to save time to check out the new changes to the pool at Caribbean Beach resort, very nice!
