    I feel like the questions in my head are just stuck there until I ask them... I made a reservation already and paid at the Coronado Springs. My husband and I are staying there with our 19 month old next week. Do you think I made the right choice?

    There's no 'right' choice so don't worry about that.  I can tell you that Coronado Springs has lots of great feature that I'm sure your son will enjoy. 

    The Dig Site is what they call the play area there, adjacent to the main themed pool.  I'm sure you've seen pictures of the waterfall cascading down the pyramid.  It's beautiful, and you can actually sit on the bottom of it for a great photo op.  There's also a children's pool, playground, sand volleyball court, and large hot tub in that area.  We stayed at this resort when my daughters were small and they really enjoyed playing in the sand.

    Coronado Springs is also a beautiful resort, set around a lake.  I think it's especially pretty for an early morning or late evening stroll.

    There is also a nicer food court (Pepper Market) at this resort than you'll find at any of the others.

    The only drawback to it in my experience can be that the convention center attracts business travelers, many of whom seemed to be enjoying the bar a bit too much.  I've stayed at this resort twice and only noticed this when I stayed near the main building (where the convention center is located); when we roomed near the Dig Site this was never an issue.  If that is a concern for you then I'd call now and request a room away from the main building.  You can inquire upon check-in as well, but your chances of getting a request honored are better the earlier you ask.

    No matter what, do not waste another moment worrying about this.  ANY Disney resort will be fantastic - after all, you're in the Happiest Place on Earth!
