Can we feed the kids at the buffet and then take them to the Oceaneer Club so we can then have a quiet dinner at our sit-down location?

Welcome back, Gloria! When you set sail with Disney Cruise Line, you'll be so impressed at the variety of dining onboard the Disney Wonder!

Since you're on an amazing seven-night cruise in Alaska, you'll get to rotate through all three main table service restaurants twice, and one of them three times. Plus, you'll have the option to dine in those for breakfast and lunch too, or grab a casual bite at Cabanas buffet or one of the Quick Service spots on the pool deck. 24-hour complimentary Room Service is another great option!

You're certainly welcome to swing by a quick service spot with the kids before you and your husband head off to your regular dining location to enjoy a quieter meal alone. However, there are some other options! Check out the Personal Navigator or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App each day to see what the hours are for the meal in the Youth Clubs. Usually around 6:15 p.m. dinner is served to any kids in the club who'd like to eat then. You can drop the kids off at least a half hour before then and let the counselors know they'll be eating there. My kids have done that a few times and enjoyed dining with kids only!

If you have the second dining seating each night, which my family chooses each time now, there's an even nicer option! Kids are served first and then about 45 minutes to an hour into the service, counselors from the Youth Clubs arrive at the restaurants to pick up kids to head to the clubs so parents can enjoy their meals on their own. We love this! Family time and then everyone gets their own time too. The best of both worlds! Either way, you certainly won't want your kids to miss out on the fun restaurants you'll experience during Rotational Dining each night, especially at Animator's Palate and Tiana's Place! Have fun planning!
