Is there a fee for bell services? And/or what about the tip? Thanks,

There is no fee for bell services. This is just part of the regular service of a hotel. It is, however, courteous to tip the cast member providing the service for you.

How much to tip depends on the service provided and what you feel comfortable with. I've just consulted several websites and books on tipping and etiquette. Here's what seems to be the general consensus:

    - For help with luggage: $1-2 per bag. Usually when we check in we have several large bags. We tip this bellman $10.00.

    - For showing you to your room without significant luggage: $5.

    - For storing your luggage if your room is not ready: $5.

    - For calling a taxi: $1-2.

    - For valet car retrieval: $1-2.

Of course if someone provides you with truly extraordinary service, then a larger tip might be in order. Or even better, a complimentary note sent to the cast member's manager would be a great way to recognize good service.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
