    On 16 February 2024, we'll be onboard the Disney Wonder as it departs Sydney. (Yes, we're a little excited. Oh, strike that—we're really excited!) Will a formal night be part of the voyage to Honolulu?

    Ahoy, there Dail!

    Welcome to planDisney! I love the energy you are bringing to us, and I'm so excited that you are really excited about your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Wonder! No doubt, it is going to be a WONDER-filled adventure. You will travel lots of miles from Washington to Australia to Honolulu before you return home, so I'm sure you are working on your packing list as I type! I'm happy to help you with your planning.

    Dail, currently your sailing is scheduled as follows (subject to change):

    • Formal Night will be on the first Saturday of your cruise.
    • The second Saturday of your cruise is scheduled as a Semi-Formal Evening.
    • You will have a swash-buckling Pirate Night on Day 11 of your cruise, so be sure to bring some pirate-inspired garb.
    • The remainder of your evenings are cruise casual. 

    You have so much time to enjoy one of my favorite Disney ships! I'm jealous of all your days at sea when you can explore all the special places on board and enjoy the wide variety of entertainment onboard. I know that the Cast and Crew will go above and beyond to make every day more magical than the next.

    Speaking of special places, I could eat at Tiana's Place every night, so I'm glad you will experience her hospitality more than once. Please enjoy some beignets for me! I also highly recommend the activities (and the libations!) offered during the day at the French Quarter Lounge.

    I wish you could provide me with a trip report upon your return because I know this will be the cruise of a lifetime! Your cruise is just a short time away, but please let us know if you have other questions; we are here to help.
