    Feb 2013 vacation with Deluxe Dining. I noticed restaurant choices are slim compared to 2012. I understand restaurants can opt in through year end...do many usually wait until last min to join? Really wanted to go to Fulton's Crab House and use plan.

    Hi, Krista! It's Krista! Yes, there is usually a last-minute push where many restaurants are added to the Disney Dining Plans just before the new year.  That's why I encourage everyone to make the Advance Dining Reservations they want now.  If, in the new year, they are not added to the plans, then you can always cancel outside the 24-hour window, and you won't lose any money.  Last year, there were huge surprises at the new year when many of the Downtown Disney restaurants decided to join the plans.  I always hold my breath, but the vast majority of the restaurants DO end up opting in.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
