Teresa,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I checked directly with Disney, and while they no longer accept fax requests, you can call the resort directly and ask for the rooms to be located near each other. While Disney will not guarantee your request, they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. What they will do is make a note on the different reservations, and the management will try to select rooms that are close together, if possible.
When you call, make sure you have all the reservation numbers of all the different rooms. That way they can apply the request to all the reservations. Also, my advice is to call in as soon as possible. You will want to get on the request list as early as possible.
The phone number at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is
407.934.6000.
BONUS TIP #1A lot of guests at Port Orleans don’t know that they can enjoy a
boat ride to Disney Springs from their resort. I love this leisurely way to sail off for some shopping or perhaps dinner. The ride is both scenic and relaxing, and the convenience of being dropped off amid this shopping, entertainment, and retail hub is fantastic. It is a definite perk, knowing you are a quick cruise away from so much to see and do.
BONUS TIP #2For a morning treat, you might want to try the beignets at the
Scat Cat's Club Café over at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Open from 7 am to 11 am, this venue normally serves as a bar at night, but during the morning hours sells coffee and the powdered pockets of sweet goodness that are inspired by New Orleans. By the way, the walk from the lobby building of your hotel to this one is about half a mile, or 1 kilometer.
