You asked about the likelihood of spotting Michael and Mary at either
Sweethearts Nite or the new
70 Years of Favorites event. I took another look at the currently released character details for both parties, and right now the Tomorrowland Space Couple is not listed as part of either lineup. That said, event offerings can shift as we get closer. Because of that, I’d recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog regularly for the most accurate updates once we’re a bit nearer to those celestial celebrations.
Now, Sweethearts Nite is shaping up beautifully this year. The “Celebrate Love Cavalcade” is returning with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and some of their closest pals making their way through the park to celebrate all kinds of love (best friends, chosen family, and romantic pairs alike). There’s also the new “Once Upon a Dream: A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook” show, which features live vocalists, heartfelt melodies, and a collection of beloved Disney royalty coming together for a shimmering nighttime ball beneath the stars. If rare characters are your mission, you might enjoy hearing that “Mother” and “Father” from Carousel of Progress will greet Guests during 70 Years of Favorites, which leans heavily into decades of Disneyland nostalgia.
If you’re considering either event, mark your calendar with these important ticket dates. A limited number of tickets will become available for Inspire Key holders on December 9, 2025 (no earlier than 9:00 AM, Pacific Time). Additional pre-sale opportunities begin on December 10, 2025, for Believe, Enchant, and Imagine Key holders. General admission opens on December 11, 2025.
