Hi again Mary! If you want the best food between Teppan Edo and Nine Dragons, I think you're safer sticking with
Teppan Edo. Everyone who eats there seems to love it! The reviews for
Nine Dragons, on the other hand, are mixed. I avoided eating at Nine Dragons for many years because I read so many negative reviews from other travelers. However, one day, my husband and I found ourselves hot and hungry in Epcot without a lunch reservation. We circled the entire World Showcase stopping at each restaurant only to find they had no availability, until we finally arrived at Nine Dragons. Maybe I was just grateful to find a restaurant that would take us, but I was actually pleasantly surprised by the food, and my husband enjoyed his meal there too. I've looked at recent reviews on forums such as disboards.com and allears.net, and many people loved Nine Dragons, but many others absolutely hated it. My husband and I eat at Chinese restaurants often, and we've noticed that the same dish can taste very differently from restaurant to restaurant, and if you become accustomed to one restaurant's preparation of that dish, you may not like another's rendition of it. I'm not sure if that's the reason some people dislike Nine Dragons, but it does evoke strong opinions, both good and bad, in people. Even though my experience there was good, I'm hesitant to recommend it to you, since it doesn't receive the universally positive reviews that Teppan Edo does. However, if you want to try somewhere new and are feeling adventurous, I'd love to hear your opinion of Nine Dragons!
Hope to talk food with you again soon! Wishing you a magical trip!
