As a military spouse and veteran, I know firsthand the sacrifices and dedication required of our Service Members and their families. While I wish Walt Disney World still offered free nights for deployed military families, that is sadly no longer available. I will happily share the excellent discounts available for U.S. Military and their families at
Walt Disney World Resort.
Over the years, my family has taken advantage of the special offers available to U.S. Military Members and their families for specially priced theme park tickets, discounted Disney Resort hotel stays, and reduced rates for sailings on
Disney Cruise Line. While it’s not quite the same as free nights, the discounts do make a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth much more affordable.
You can find great rates for U.S. Service Members and their families for stays at
Shades of Green Resort, a military resort with spacious rooms, beautiful grounds, several dining options, and complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World theme parks. My family has stayed here several times, and as with most military resorts, the rate per night of stay is based on the Military rank/grade of the Service Member. Shades of Green is a great option, placing you right in the heart of the magic! If a stay at Shades of Green isn’t what you are looking for, as a U.S. Military Member, you can

For your
theme park tickets, you can purchase specially priced theme park tickets from your base ticket office or through Shades of Green. The
2025 Disney Military Salute Tickets offer savings on 4-, 5-, or 6-day theme park tickets, with Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus options available. You can read more about these special theme park tickets on the
