My father in law needs to rent a scooter only at the theme parks. What is the cost? Are there weight limits? Do you leave a deposit prior to arriving? Thank you

    Hello Andrew,

Renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) or scooter is the perfect way for those with mobility challenges to easily travel around the Walt Disney World theme parks.  It will make their trip more enjoyable and give them a feeling of independence.  ECV Rentals are available at all of the theme parks and Downtown Disney on a first come, first served basis. The weight limit is 450 pounds.  The cost is $50.00 per day with a $20.00 refundable deposit.  The vehicles cannot be removed from the parks but you can save your rental receipt when you turn in the ECV and use it at another theme park on the same day at no additional charge.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  I'm glad that we could assist so that everyone in your traveling party can have a magical vacation.
