Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica! I bet your kids will have an awesome summer visiting grandpa, especially when there are a few visits to the
Walt Disney World Resort in their plans! Thanks for sending in your question.
Your father can purchase
Walt Disney World Annual Passes for his grandchildren as long as they are under the age of 18. In order to use the passes, he needs to show
Proof of Florida Residency at any theme park ticket window, Guest Services location or the
Disney Springs Guest Services location, with his grandchildren.
Jessica, once those tickets are activated, there is no need to show Proof of Florida Residency for future visits. They will be ready to go just by tapping their
MagicBands to the Mickey sensors at any of the theme park entrances.
Your dad should take a look at the
Special Offers available to Florida Residents. Disney Resort hotel pools are so much fun! There are promotions for every season of the year, so a weekend at a
Disney Resort hotel spent splashing around the pool may be a great way to burn up some extra energy the kids might have!
Jessica, I hope this information is helpful to you. You can always come back to see us if you have any additional planning questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your family’s next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
