Would it be faster to take the buses or drive to the 4 parks (MK, Epcot, HS, AK)? -Group of 6 traveling to WDW in August, staying at All Star-Sports :) -We have AAA Diamond parking pass. -We get going around 8am and come back in the afternoon for break

Hi, John!  For my family, it has always been easier to use our car.  You do have some wait for the buses - how long can really vary.  You also may be on a bus that has other stops, and for me, often going back to the hotel with three crabby kids, I don't like to wait any longer than I have to.

I also have often visited with my dad and my mother-in-law, both of whom have traveled with their wheelchairs.  Combined with a stroller, it's just always been easier to use my own car.

Another advantage to using the car is if you have early morning dining reservations somewhere, it lets you get there without worrying if the buses have started running.

With the AAA Diamond parking pass, you are parking pretty close to the front of the parking lots, as long as there is space available when you arrive.

Walt Disney World transportation is wonderful, and you might want to use it to go back to the hotel for your afternoon breaks so you are getting into a cool bus instead of the hot car that has been sitting in the baking Florida sunshine, but for my family, the getting there in the morning and leaving in the evening has always been easier by car.
