We have farewell breakfast booked for 11/28 which is the day we check out. Will that be a dining credit or will we have to pay out of pocket?

    Hi Christi,

Thank you for swinging by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question!

I'm so pleased to hear you will be using one of Disney's dining plans during your vacation! What a great choice, you've made! You will see everything is better when using a dining plan; no more stays without one for our family!

Your dining credits are assigned per night of stay; however, did you know they do not expire on your last night but at midnight of your check-out day? This means that if you save table-service credits to be used during the farewell breakfast you mentioned above, you can use them even after you've left your room or even the resort. I've used my meal credits at Disney Springs once we had all left the resort premises without a problem.

If you run out of credits and you prefer to pay out of pocket, you can totally do that as well. It is entirely up to you how you want to use your entitlements.

Did you know you can check how many credits you've used and how many you have left on the My Disney Experience app? You can view when and where credits were used so you can better manage your meals with your family!

Christi, we really hope you will have the most pixie-dusted vacation of all! Please do not hesitate to come back with more questions; we are delighted to help!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
