How far in the future does the calendar post blackout dates for the magic key pass?

Hi Sandy, and welcome to planDisney!

As a fellow Magic Key holder, I completely understand the excitement of planning future visits to the Disneyland Resort. There’s nothing quite like knowing you have the key to unlocking magical experiences throughout the year!

The Magic Key Calendar is your go-to tool for checking reservation availability. When browsing the calendar, look for the icons to help guide your planning:
Sleeping Beauty Castle or Pixar Pal-A-Round icons indicate available reservations.
A circle with a slash means reservations are currently unavailable for that date.
Dates in blue have not yet opened for reservations.
Dates with a slash through them are blockout dates, which vary depending on your Magic Key pass level.

Currently, blockout dates for all Magic Key tiers have been posted through March 2026, so you can check well in advance to see when you’ll be able to visit!

Sandy, did you know that your Magic Key unlocks a treasure trove of exclusive perks? This month, Magic Key holders can pick up an exclusive Magic Key popcorn bucket, complete with discounted refills. My wife and I snagged one, and let me tell you, there’s no better way to enjoy an evening stroll down Main Street, than with a bucket full of buttery goodness! Plus, more limited-time offerings and surprises are always on the horizon. To stay in the loop, be sure to download the Disneyland app and check out the Magic Key Portal. It’s the best way to keep track of all the special opportunities available throughout the year.

And of course, this year marks Disneyland’s 70th anniversary, making it an enchanting time to visit! While we’re still awaiting official entertainment schedules, we do know that starting May 16, beloved nighttime spectaculars like Wondrous Journeys and Paint the Night will return. Plus, with the debut of World of Color – One: Happy, there will be no shortage of breathtaking entertainment to enjoy. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates and announcements on this milestone celebration!

I hope this information helps, Sandy. If you have any more questions or would like additional tips on making the most of your Magic Key, please visit us again at planDisney.

    Wishing you a magical visit!
