How far is it from Disney Spring to Animal Kingdom?

Hi there, Kelly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by and allowing us to help you with your transportation question!

Both Disney Springs and Disney's Animal Kingdom are excellent places to spend the day when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I actually had very similar plans during one day of my recent visit in December 2018! Based on my own experiences from that day, I would highly recommend stopping by The Daily Poutine at Disney Springs for a snack or meal. This quick service dining location features some amazing variations, as well as the classic style, of poutine. Afterwards, if you're looking for a bit of dessert at Disney's Animal Kingdom, stop by the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck in the Asia section of the park. This unassuming location offers some of the best soft serve at Walt Disney World Resort!

If you are driving a personal vehicle, it will take approximately 20 minutes to drive from Disney Springs to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Simply follow the road signs that point you towards Disney's Animal Kingdom and you will be there in no time!

I do want to point out that Disney Bus transportation is not available from Disney Springs directly to the parks. However, you can take Disney Bus Service to a Disney Resort hotel and transfer to another bus that goes directly to the theme parks. When going to Disney's Animal Kingdom, I love to make a quick stop at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I highly recommend every Guest visit this resort, even if they are staying at a different Disney Resort hotel!

Have fun continuing to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
