How far is it from the Disabled parking to the entrance to Disneyland? Last time I was there during COVID the walk was approx. one mile.

Welcome to planDisney, Cheryl. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in the works and I'm delighted to help.

I'm happy to share that theme park parking for Guests with disabilities is available throughout the Disneyland Resort. Be sure to have your valid disabled parking placard or license plate which is required to park in these designated areas.

When it comes to a few of the most popular parking areas like the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures and the Toy Story Parking Area, transportation is provided from the parking area to the resort. It sounds like you may have parked in one of the parking structures during your last visit and the tram service may not have returned quite yet.

I'm pleased to report that tram service has returned and always makes for a fun first and last ride during your day at the parks. The tram conveniently drops off Guests in Downtown Disney District near the main entrance gates. If you park at the Toy Story Parking Area, there will be a bus that will drop you off on the other side of the esplanade near the main entrance gates. If you decide to make the trek on foot, there is a dedicated path from the parking structure to the entrance of Downtown Disney District which is approximately one mile.

It's a great time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is in full swing with so many delectable eats and treats to indulge in. And if you're a Star Wars fan, the Season of the Force kicks off tomorrow, April 5th. I can't wait to ride Hyperspace Mountain during my next visit!

Cheryl, I hope this has been helpful and gives you the information you'll need to make your plans for your upcoming visit. Let us know if we can help with anything else that you might be curious about. Here's wishing you a most magical visit!
