How far ahead of time to I need to be at the TTC to make rope drop for MK?

    Hi Wayne,

The Ticket and Transportaion Center is not that far from Magic Kingdom and provides access to MK by both boat and monorail. I would suggest allowing about thirty minutes to travel from TTC to Magic Kingdom in case you miss a boat or monorail and need to wait for another one. If you are hoping to be thru the turnstiles and actually in line for the running of the tourists (aka the fast walk to Space Mountain or Splash Mountain), I would plan on being at Magic Kingdom at least fifteen to twenty minutes prior to the actual drop to allow for time to get past bag check and the entrance. If you have not had a chance to watch the opening show at the train station, it is adorable and a great way to start your day at Magic Kingdom.
