How far ahead of the cruise leaving can we do online check in?

Welcome aboard, Pamela! You must have a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line booked for your family. There is so much to enjoy both onboard and in the ports of call. No matter the ages of those joining you, there is truly something for everyone when you sail with Captain Mickey and his crew.

Online check-in begins at different times for guests. First time guests with Disney Cruise Line will be able to begin online check-in at 75 days prior to sailing, once their cruise is paid in full. Those who have sailed with Disney before can begin online check-in earlier: 90 days prior for Silver Castaway Club members, 105 days prior for Gold Castaway Club members, and 120 days prior for Platinum Castaway Club members. Checking in involves completing some forms required for sailing as well as what everyone is waiting for: booking those fun extras like Port Adventures, certain specialty Character Greetings, and more!

If this is your very first cruise, I suggest that you plan well ahead of time what your "must-do" experiences are, and then log in as soon as the 75 day mark hits. This way, you have a better chance of getting reservations for your favorites. While some may already be booked up, there's always the chance as you check back each week to see if guests have changed their plans and new reservation spots become available, especially in the last couple of weeks leading up to the sailing.

I hope that helps as you get ready to head out to sea, Pamela. Please stop back with any other questions about your Disney cruise. We're happy to help!
