Hey there, Nikia!
I am thrilled that you stopped by today to talk to us here at planDisney and I would love to help make your vacation practically perfect in every way.
Nikia, let's start talking about strollers. You have two main options here. Your first option is to
rent a stroller directly through Walt Disney World Resort. These strollers can not be reserved in advance and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Additionally, these strollers can not leave the theme parks, so you must pick them up each morning and drop them off each day before you head back to your resort.
Because the strollers that you rent from Disney can not leave the parks, I actually recommend that you rent a stroller through a third-party company. These strollers tend to be a little more comfortable and can come back to your resort with you. That alone is a huge help when little legs are tired after a long day.
You will find no shortage of wonderful companies to rent strollers from, but ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider, meaning that they are the only company that can pick up and drop off your rental at Bell Services at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Now, Nikia, let's move on to dining reservations.
You are correct that
dining reservations are "highly recommended" for table service locations. Because you are visiting at one of the busiest times of the year, I suspect that same-day and walk-up reservations will be a little harder to come by than normal. Additionally, if there are any restaurants that sound amazing to your family, you want to be sure you make a reservation so that you don't lose out!
If you are not interested in dining at a table service location, feel free to not make any reservations, but I always recommend planning at least one or two sit-down meals like
Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine or
Whispering Canyon Cafe. Not only is the food wonderful, but a sit-down meal allows my family to slow our pace during what is otherwise a very busy day.
I hope that this gave you a bit of clarification, Nikia!
Happy planning!
