Hello there, Janie,
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are hoping to remove a guest from a room & ticket
Vacation Package. If so, you'll need to
contact a Cast Member by phone for assistance.
I reached out to one while researching your question and learned that there are a few factors to consider. First, if this guest has their own resort room or if you are canceling your entire package completely, you'll need to do so more than 30 days in advance of your arrival to avoid cancellation fees. If your guest simply can't make the trip but the rest of your party is visiting according to plan, Cast Members should be able to assist in removing the guest without needing to rebook your package.
If your package still has a remaining balance, your total amount due should be updated when the guest in question is removed. If your package has already been paid in full but you are still within the penalty-free cancellation period, you should receive a refund for that guest's portion. Keep in mind that if you are modifying your package within 30 days of arrival there will be a
$50 change fee imposed, which will be deducted from any pending refunds.
I recommend contacting a Cast Member as soon as possible to get things updated so you can continue the planning process, secure
advance dining reservations and purchase
Lightning Lane Passes for your party when eligible. The earlier you can get things sorted, the better.
Janie, if I have misunderstood your question or you need additional clarification please don't hesitate to reach out to us again. We're always here to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
