How far in advance do you recommend booking a disneyland adventure I'm looking to book in October 2024 during the week also do you know if it's crowded during this time?

    Welcome to planDisney, Cindy!

I am thrilled to chat with you about visiting Disneyland Resort next October. Fall is my favorite season to visit. Halloween decor, treats, and celebrations are in full, spirited swing. Let's take a peek at booking your vacation.

Disneyland Vacation Packages for 2024 are available at this time. However, it will be dependent on your preference as to when you book your October 2024 visit. If I already know my dates of travel, then I prefer to make my reservations as far as possible in advance so that I have a variety of Hotel options from which to choose. I highly recommend considering Disneyland Hotel for your stay. The rooms feature modern designs with touches of classic Disneyland throughout, and the location is mere minutes away from the theme parks. However, you really cannot go wrong with any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels

Another reason to consider booking in advance is to be prepared for events like the Oogie Boogie Bash- A Disney Halloween Party. Even though this frightfully fun festivity is sold out for this year, you could take a look at the dates from 2023 to get an idea of when the event may potentially occur next fall. That way, you can be ready to snag tickets as soon as they become available in 2024. I also recommend examining the other haunting Halloween events and themed attractions taking place this year to get an idea of how to plan for 2024. While it is tricky to predict how crowded Disneyland Resort will be; generally, dates during the weekend and around local school holidays will be slightly more crowded. Additionally, the closer the date is to Halloween, the more ghastly ghouls may want to appear. However, you mentioned wanting to book during the week, so you should experience fewer paranormal populations (or other Guests) than on the weekend. I hope this helps you plan for your terrifically terrifying trip next year!

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disneyland Resort adventures!

    Enjoy making (Maleficent) magical memories!
