Howdy, Samantha. I'm always happy to rustle up an answer for a fellow Texan, so thanks for boot-scooting by planDisney today!
There’s nothing more exciting than having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon, so I completely understand wanting to get a head start on
planning your trip for next year. I wish I had a precise date to offer as to when vacation packages for 2024 will be released, but we don’t yet know when that will be. Typically, they open up late in the spring or early in the summer, so I recommend keeping a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates around that time.
While it is technically too soon to book a vacation package for 2024, it’s never too early to start planning your trip. Here are a few things you can do in the meantime to get a jump start while you wait for vacation packages to be released:
- Browse the Walt Disney World Resort website and the planDisney Pocket Guides to compile a list of potential Disney Resorts Collection hotels you would like to stay at. You’ll want to consider the price point, location, amenities, and theming to see which option best fits your needs.
- Start perusing the plethora of delicious dining options on property to narrow down where you would like to eat during your vacation, and explore the Enchanting Extras Collection offerings to see if anything piques your interest. You won’t be able to book these until closer to your arrival date, but it’s a good idea to have a list so you are ready to go once you can start booking reservations.
- Tune in to the planDisney Podcast for planning tips and ideas for your vacation. There are episodes on everything from tips for first-time Walt Disney World Resort visitors to tips for visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It’s perfect to help you pass the time while you wait.
Samantha, I hope this information proves helpful. If you have further questions, please stop by planDisney again and let us lasso up another answer for you.
Happy trails to you,
Alyssa
