Hi Megan,
This is such an exciting time, and I hope that you're having fun
planning your Disney adventure and dreaming about all of the magic you'll enjoy next
spring!
Park hours, including
Extra Magic Hours and even parade and fireworks show times, are released around 180 days in advance, which is the same day that
dining reservations become available to book. Since you're staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, though, and have the added
benefit of being able to make your reservations for the entire length of your stay, up to 10 days, it can be tricky to know what reservations to make without knowing what park you'll be visiting each day. Hakuna Matata...no worries. I have a suggestion for you! I'd encourage you to check out touringplans.com. They post park hours
190 days in advance and estimate them even further out than that. While I can't guarantee that they're accurate until Disney releases the official park hours, it's definitely a great place to start. Since park hours are always subject to change anyway, I'd encourage you to plan your itinerary based on their hours, make all of your dining reservations when your window opens 180 days before your arrival, and then make any edits or changes necessary once Disney releases the
official hours. With so many
incredible dining options to choose from, I'm sending some pixie dust that you find the
perfect reservations for your trip!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
