Hi how far in advance can you book tours? We are looking at the rhino encounter and caring for giants tours x

Hello there, Katie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop back by and allowing us to help you plan another trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

I don't know about you but I am a massive animal lover! I always make a point to spend time at Disney's Animal Kingdom and pursue the various animal enclosures during my own vacations to Walt Disney World Resort. With that being said, I was incredibly excited when Walt Disney World Resort announced the creation of more Special Events and Tours featuring the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park!

The Up Close with Rhinos experience was incredibly informative and absolutely magical. I learned so many wonderful things about these majestic creatures including the fact that their skin feels incredibly similar to a hairy basketball! While I personally have not had the chance to experience the Caring for Giants tour, I have heard many other Guests highly recommend it as well! Both of these tours are a great way to get a closer look at some of the animals found at Disney's Animal Kingdom and learn more about what goes into their everyday care from an animal specialist.

Special Events and Tours may generally be booked up to 180 days in advance. Reservations may be made by calling the Reservations phone line at (407) WDW-PLAY. Since these tours are quite popular, I would recommend making reservations as soon as possible!

Hopefully, this information will help you continue to plan for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I hope you and your family have a WILD time!
