How far in advance should I book ground transportation from my WDW resort to Port Canaveral? We are sailing mid-May 2025.

    Ahoy there, Jessica,

Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your planning question. I love your plan-ahead spirit!

I'm glad you will begin your Disney Cruise Line vacation with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. A Land and Sea experience is my favorite! Booking Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral is a great way to make your vacation from park to port seamless. You can book ground transportation as soon as you make your cruise reservation. If you have your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, I recommend going forward with booking your transportation. Since space is limited it is great to check it off your list.

While planning your cruise, don't forget to mark your calendar for your Advanced Booking Window date! Once your cruise is paid in full, when your Advanced Booking Window opens, you can book Port Adventures and any activities that require reservations. Then you are another wave closer to sailing away!

Jessica, I hope this helps as you continue your planning. Visit planDisney again if you have other questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories.
