Ahoy, Kelly, and thanks for sailing on over to planDisney. I just visited
The Beak and Barrel last week, and it’s a swashbuckling good time!
Now, let’s chat about how you can secure a reservation for this lively tavern. Like other dining reservations,
Disney Resort hotel guests can
make reservations starting 60 days before check-in for their whole stay (up to a 10-night stay), and all other guests can book 60 days in advance. When your booking window opens, reservations will become available at approximately 6:00 a.m.
Since The Beak and Barrel is such a new experience, reservations are usually fully booked shortly after they drop. If you’re not seeing any availability for your dates, I’d recommend checking back frequently, especially in the days leading up to your trip. I’ve often been able to snag a last-minute reservation for popular lounges and restaurants that were previously full.
I also wanted to share a few tips for your visit to The Beak and Barrel. Since you’ll have a limited amount of time in the tavern, I’d recommend previewing the
menu ahead of time so you can order shortly after being seated. When I was there last week, they were limiting guests to a 45-minute visit so that as many buccaneers and swashbucklers as possible could enjoy the tavern throughout the day. Some of my crew’s favorite items were the Plunder’s Punch, which comes with extra bounty in the form of a souvenir pirate skull mug, and the Island Provisions spread of plantain chips, tortillas, and flatbread with three delicious dips.
And after you put in your order, be sure to walk around to check out all the
fun details. You might even get to see Rummy the parrot make an appearance and lead the tavern in a hearty Yo Ho!
I’m wishing you many adventures ahead! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
