    I am going to be on the Fantasy next week for our honeymoon. I noticed many of the menu items are "elaborate" meals, but my wife and I prefer more "plain" foods (like a simple steak). How accomidating are the main dining restrauants fo

    Congratulations on your upcoming wedding & honeymoon onboard the Disney Fantasy!  What a magical way to spend your first seven days of married life!  My husband & I also spent our honeymoon at sea, and I have to let you know that I was also worried about all the "fancy foods" that was offered on the dining menus.  I have a few suggestions that I hope will help you enjoy the delicious cuisine of Disney Cruise Line!  Whenever I order from the menu, I often ask for items to be removed or placed on the side.  Disney Cruise Line is usually very accommodating to my request.  But, with that being said, since your food has already been paid for, a cruise is a perfect time to step out of your food comfort zone!  One great thing about your dining servers is if you don't like something, they will be happy to bring something else that you might like better.  I haven't always liked what I have tried, but with many cruises under my belt, I have definitely enjoyed dishes that I would have never tried in a land based restaurant! So, even if you and your wife consider yourself plain eaters, make a deal to try a few new items next week!

    I'm also happy to report that on my recent Fantasy cruise, there were basic items on the menu each night such as baked salmon, chicken breast, steak, baked potato and rice.  I did order the chicken breast one night because it was all that appealed to me, and it was delicious!
