Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Elizabeth!
With 2013 underway, your magical May sailing is just around the corner! Being dropped off by a family member is a great idea! The castmembers at the entrance of Disney Cruise Line's terminal will direct your driver to the drop-off area where he/she can easily pull in, and the porters will be waiting to assist your family with the luggage.
There are many wonderful ruin Port Adventure options on the Western itineraries. With the ages of your children, you should be fine with any of the choices offered. I would take into consideration the travel times when booking because you know how patient your two will be when it comes to this subject! The
Tulum Ruins in Cozumel begins with a 45-minutes ferry ride followed by an hour and 10 minute bus ride. On the
Chacchoben Mayan Ruins you should factor in the hour ride to the ruins once you disembark the ship. Shorter options are available such as the
Cozumel Highlight and Maya Ruins will also include a look inside the rich history of this area. I don't think you will be disappointed with any of the choices, Elizabeth, so good luck with your decision!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel, Elizabeth! I always love helping a fellow Georgia Peach so keep me posted as you continue to plan for your spectacular cruise vacation!
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
