We will be on the Fantasy in March 2014. Just wondering if guests receive a complimentary lanyard to keep their room key, etc. or if it is something that we should purchase prior to the trip.

Ahoy Susan!
Congratulations on your 2014 Disney Fantasy Cruise! I find planning a cruise vacation is half the fun so I hope you are also enjoying the process as well!
Lanyards are very helpful when cruising because of how often you need your Key to the World card onboard. It not only serves as your room key, but also your photo card, charge card and gets you on and off the ship! If you are a new cruiser to Disney Cruise Line, you will need to purchase a lanyard if you plan on using one onboard. Repeat cruisers who belong to the Castaway Cay Club do receive a lanyard as part of their Castaway Club welcome back gift. Lanyards are available for purchase in the shops onboard or you can order one ahead of time from the Disney Store online.
