Welcome aboard, Ashley!
Disney Cruise Line has the best
Youth Clubs at sea! My kids can attest to that. They've been sailing with Disney since my son was three, and my daughter five. They both simply adore spending time in the clubs with the fabulous counselors doing crafts, games, and other exciting Disney activities while meeting new friends! I'm excited for your daughter to experience all that the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab have to offer!
You're correct that each day there are Open House hours offered in the Club or Lab when guests of any age can join in on the fun. That'll be a wonderful time for you and your husband to join your daughter there for some magical activities together. However, during the regular secured programming times, safety and security of the children is of utmost concern, so adults are not allowed to stay during those times.
I suggest that you take your daughter to check out the spaces and meet the counselors during Open House after lunch that first day you board the ship. She can get the lay of the land and you can get a sense of how it all works in the clubs. Then, check out the Personal Navigator, or your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, for a listing of the events and activities taking place in the clubs later that day or the next day. If one sounds right up your little princess's alley, give it a try! The counselors can easily contact you via the text feature in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, or via
Wave Phone, so no matter where you go onboard, you're never more than a quick call away.
Have such fun when you set sail, Ashley!
