We have a Fantasmic dinner at H'wd and Vine for our family at 4:00pm on 11/12. The show is at 6:30pm. I have heard that the Fantasmic Package has recently changed and doesn't include a separate entrance area. If so, what is the advantage to the package?

Hey Christy!  Yes the Fantasmic entrance has changed but I still recommend it.  I was there in June and just like you, I had a 4:30 ADR at H&V.  Although you walk into the same entrance with others,  you will be guided to a separate line to the right at the top of the hill and this still will save you time.  Those entering without the package will begin to line up an hour to two hours before the show starts.  With your pass, you won't have to go to the attraction until at least 45 minutes before show time.  So the advantage is you can go enjoy your meal at 4 rather than going to line up for a seat around 4:30 or 5 PM.  And they have not changed the location of the reserved seats, they are still great seats and you don't have to wait hours to get them.
Thanks so much for the great question and for coming to the Mom's Panel.  I hope you have a very magical WDW vacation in November.
