    Hi for the Fantasmic Dining Packages,is the reserved viewing location a sit-down or standing view?

    Aloha, Francine, welcome back to planDisney!

    Looks like you’re getting ready for a visit to the Golden State and looking to experience the return of Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park. Like you, I’m excited to see what our pal Mickey is up to with his imagination this time around! Thanks for submitting this question, I’m here to share some insight on viewing the nighttime spectacular!

    Dining event packages are a great way to enjoy good food and special, reserved seating for select experiences. Fantasmic! is a guest favorite and has options at three different restaurants for dining and reserved viewing spots and the view type ultimately depends on the package purchased. All packages include sit-down viewing in premium or general reserved areas as follows:

    • Blue Bayou Dining Packages include a voucher for a prime viewing area with ground seating.
    • River Belle Terrace has two packages - a standard package includes a voucher reserved viewing area with ground seating, and a premium package that includes seating from the restaurant terrace during your dinner.
    • Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurante has a standard package with reserved area ground seating.

    I’ve gotta say all three restaurant locations have some great meal options, and you can’t forget the dessert! There are typically two showings per evening on the Rivers of America, and guests can be seen gathering at least an hour before showtime near the viewing spots in anticipation of this experience. I’m counting down to my next visit and seeing Mickey light up the Rivers of America with his adventurous imagination! Make sure you plan time to check out Pixar Fest fun while you’re there, too! The Pixar Pals Playtime Party is happening at Fantasyland Theatre and be sure to grab a slice of the Pixar Fest vanilla cake from Plaza Inn!
