HI my famly and i are staying pof can we bring our own fishing poles and fish at the resort

Hi Troy!  Port Orleans French Quarter is a wonderful resort full of fun Mardi Gras decor and one of my favorite themed pool areas, Doubloon Lagoon!

Fishing at Disney a wonderful way to enjoy some time together as a family.  At POFQ, they offer a fishing excursion.  With the fishing excursion, you have a pontoon boat, a guide, rod and reel, tackle and live bait.  These excursions are much pricier, topping off at about $270 for a two hour ride and $450 for a four hour tour.

Port Orleans Riverside offers dockside fishing at Ol' Man Island Fishin' Hole.  There you can rent cane poles and worms for  $12.50 an hour for families up to 6.  Because this is cane [poles, you would not be able to use your own rod and reel.

Remember, all Disney fishing is catch-and-release only, but you can definitely take pictures of you and your big catch!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
