Hello David!

How exciting that you are visiting Walt Disney World in April! You are going to love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! This resort offers Disney Skyliner transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, which is a fun and convenient way to travel to the parks! This resort also has great shopping at Calypso Trading Post and amazing food at Centertown Market. You also will love the pool, which has two slides, one of which has an 82-foot drop! Speaking of the pool, there are so many wonderful recreation options at this resort, including nightly campfires, movies under the stars, fishing, bike rentals, and a pirate-themed playground.

In addition to all of those perks, you will get to enjoy Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. As you mentioned, this means you get to enter the park 30 minutes prior to opening each day. The great news is that this is 30 minutes prior to the time listed on the calendar and in the My Disney Experience app. For instance, I see that Disney's Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 9 am on April 22. This means that you will get to enter the park at 8:30 am.

While you are at Disney's Magic Kingdom, you won't want to miss Disney Enchantment, the nighttime fireworks show. The show is part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration!
