Our family's first vacation to WDW is the week after Easter. What type of snacks can you actually get if you are on the DDP? Are you allowed to get more extravagant snacks such as sundaes, brownies, crispy treats, etc. instead of what is listed on the DDP

    Hi Shawna,

I love using my snacks on the Disney Dining Plan for exciting food rather than just bottles of water and popcorn. The general rule, which is always subject to change, is any individual serving of food under $4, there are a few exceptions so always be sure to ask before you purchase also make sure to look for the DDP sign next to items on menus!

So yes you can get more extravagant snacks, my favourites are -

    • Magic Kingdom - DoleWhip from Aloha Isle, funnel cakes from sleepy hollow, brownie sundaes from Mrs Potts and anything from the Main Street Bakery.
    • Epcot - the bakeries in both Norway and France, Kaki Gori from Japan and crepes from France.
    • Big lollipops and candy treats from all gift shops
    • Downtown Disney - Make your own treats including marshmallows, pretzel rods and crispy heads.

I hope that helps and you enjoy your snacks,

    Jo
