Family's first trip in June. Here is my question....what food/drinks can you bring into the park? Can you bring a water bottle? Snacks? A friend was telling me about a softdrink cup you can buy and refill? How does this work? Can it be used at all parks?

You can bring moderate quantities of food and drinks into the theme parks. I almost always have water bottles and a few granola bars with me when I enter the parks. When my kids were infants I would bring baby food into the parks and when they were a bit older I brought things like Goldfish and fruit for them to snack on while waiting in line. There are no specific rules about what you can bring into the parks for food. You're just not allowed to bring super-larger coolers into the parks. If you food can fit into a small backpack or diaper bag, then you're going to be fine bringing it with you.

The resorts have refillable mugs for sale that can be used at your resort during the duration of your stay. While prices do change, they cost around $12.00 each. The exact beverages that are included in the refillable mug purchase vary slightly from resort to resort, but generally they include fountain soft drinks, coffee, and hot chocolate. The refillable mugs cannot be used in the theme parks. The water parks do have their own refillable mugs that can be used there.

Hope you have a great trip.
