My family's first trip to Disney World will be in 2015 only 2014 events is out my question is: when does the event calendar for 2015 come out? My oldest son want's to go to a Star Wars weekend and I was planning to go June 10-15 the second weekend of June.

    Hi Kimberly,

Star Wars Weekends are so popular! I know a few Moms and Dads on the Panel who visit regularly in May and June just for this reason!

Calendars are generally announced about six months in advance. This gives guests enough time to make resort, dining and transportation plans. I would follow Disney Parks Blog. This site gives guests updates on all things happening at the parks. This will be one of the first places to announce the dates. Some other good sites are AllEarsNet.com or Mousesavers.com.

While traditionally your intended date falls in the category of a Star Wars Weekend, I might wait for the dates before confirming especially if attending Star War events are important.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
