This is my family's first trip to Disney. Can someone tell me the major differences between a value resort and a moderate one? Are the value resorts decent to stay in?

Hi, Shannon!  I love the value resorts, and as a matter of fact, I'll be staying in one in just a couple of weeks!  The biggest differences you'll find are that they moderates have a little bit more room in your resort room, and in addition to food courts, you'll also find a table service restaurant available at the moderate resorts.

The swimming pools may have a bit more elaborate theming, but I love the value pools just as much.

The rooms all come with a small refrigerator now, which is failry new to the value resorts, and you'll find buses are the main mode of transportation at most of the values and moderates.

I hope this helps you in making your decision where to stay!  Have a great vacation!
