Our family's first Disney trip coming up 11/12-11/19- trying to figure out which parks to go on which days. Are the crowds at MK much worse on weekends than during the week? I know it's off season but don't really know what to expect. Thanks!

Hey Jaclyn!  How exciting to be planning your first trip to WDW!  You are getting closer to being at the most magical place on earth.
Your question is a very popular one, and one I wish I could give you a definite answer on but I can share with you what I know from my trips.  For one you are right, you are actually going at a time when crowds should be less, which is great for you all.  I have found Saturdays to sometimes be the more crowded day during the weekend, but Sundays have been fantastic.  Sundays seem to be a day when the crowds "flip," one set is leaving while another is coming in.  For this reason, I think the MK is a great place to visit on Sunday.  Most WDW books and guides will tell you to try and avoid the MK on Mondays, as that is typically the most crowded day at that park.  Also it is recommended if you are trying to avoid the crowds, to choose parks which do not have EMH's.  Those with EMH's do tend to be more crowded on those particular days.
I truly hope this helps and that you have the best time on your first trip to WDW.  Thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel.
