Ahoy, Christie!
Can you believe your amazing Alaskan voyage is so close? It won't be long now before you're boarding the beautiful
Disney Wonder to cruise up the Inside Passage to explore the Last Frontier. I'm SO excited for you because I was lucky enough to sail this itinerary a couple of years ago, and it was a vacation of a lifetime for my crew. One of many reasons we chose Disney for our Alaskan voyage was the
youth experiences, so I can understand wanting your little one to be able to take advantage of the spaces onboard. Since he turns three on Day Two, you can plan on registering him at the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab once you are onboard as long as he's potty trained. Just stop by he morning of his birthday and the youth counselors will be happy to help you get him signed up with an official Oceaneer Band.
If he is not quite potty trained he will still be able to enjoy the youth spaces with you during Open House hours, which are scheduled each day. "it's a small world" nursery! does offer little ones who aren't potty trained a fun area to play, enjoy crafts and games. A nominal hourly fee does apply, and it's first-come, first-served so you'll want to think about reserving time either online or once aboard.
Christie, I hope your family has a magical week at sea, and your son's third birthday is extra special. Be sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up a celebration button for him so he can wear it all week long, and let your servers know so they can sing at dinner and present him with a birthday treat. There are also some birthday surprises for purchase in the
Gift and Amenities section that you may want to consider!
Have a WONDERful time!
Nancy
