My family (4yr & 12yr boys) are going to Disney world in June 2013 for a week. We have stayed at POP and Cornado in the past. This time we cant agree were to stay I want AOA but boys think the standard rooms are to girly. What resorts are more for boys?

    Hi Gail!

I'd be happy to help you out with a couple of more "manly" suggestions for your boys!

First, the pirate themed rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort may appeal to the boys' adventurous side! The ship-shaped beds and touches of pirate decor throughout the room definitely shout "boys" to me! The incredible pool complex area is definitely a kid favorite too!

For a bit of a splurge, the Wilderness Lodge brings a woodsy, Pacific Northwest feel to its grounds, rooms, and decor. With Native American touches and a scale replica of the Grand Canyon in its fireplace, this resort is tops with our family. Explore the grounds with a hike or a bike ride on trails through the wonderful pine trees. The lodge's location can't be beat either. It is just a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom.

Hope one of these options work for you! Please let the Moms Panel know if we can help out with any additional suggestions!
