    Hello! Family of 4, with 17 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter, traveling in Nov 2008, 8 nights. Is it worth purchasing tix for cat 1 seating to Spirit of Aloha, and then purchasing DDP for the remaining 6 nights, or go all 8 with DDP and using credits?

    Hi Amy,

    If you are staying at a Disney Resort you will purchase your Disney Dining Plan for your length of stay. With this in mind, you may not be able to use all of your meals because of when you check in and when you check out.

    For example, you will get meals on the first day you check in. If you flight does not have you at the hotel until 2:00 pm, you have missed eating breakfast on the plan. If your flight going home leaves at 4:00 pm, you will not be eating dinner with Disney either.

    However, these meal credits will be still available to you so use them at the Spirit of Aloha or room service or any other meal that requires extra credits.
