Hiya, Janette! We're so happy to help with your question.
Walt Disney World sure does offer a variety of options when it comes to hotel rooms. With the
Disney Resorts Collection of hotels, you'll find everything from a standard hotel room to a grand villa for 12.
The capacity for a resort hotel room allows for one child under the age of three in addition to the posted maximum. So, for example, a suite that holds a maximum of six people can also accommodate one child under the age of three in addition to the other six guests - six plus one under age three. In this situation, if your youngest has already reached the age of three, they do count toward that room maximum.
An option you may want to consider is booking two resort rooms. It will give you the room to spread out a little bit, but you can also make a request for connecting rooms. Although room requests cannot be guaranteed, if you
call a Cast Member, they can note on your reservation that you have a large family. This can help make your family a priority for connecting rooms when they are assigned.
I hope your family has a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation, Janette! If there's anything we can help with while you are planning, come on back and see us!
