Hey, Ally! The
Disney Dining Plan will make your mealtime SO easy! As a mom of twins, I am sure you will appreciate every bit of the convenience it will provide you. Be sure to complete your
dining reservations before your arrival so you will be able to make the most of your plan. Since you are aiming to split some meals, you may want to write a list out of everywhere you plan to eat and the number of meal entitlements you plan to use at each. I do not want you to get to the end of your trip and find that you have one or two spare meal credits!
You are more than welcome to split meals at Table Service and Quick Service dining locations and only have the Cast Member deduct the actual number of credits that you use during the meal. I do want to make sure you are aware of a few things while we chat. Dining locations that serve meals as a buffet, as opposed to ordering from a menu, will still deduct one meal entitlement per person. Also, if you use just two meal entitlements at any dining location, then know that you will only receive two beverages. So, you will still need to pay out of pocket for beverages for the other two guests. You mentioned ordering both appetizers and entrees, so I assume you are on the
Deluxe Dining Plan. This plan does provide a LOT of food and it covers three meals plus two snacks per day. If you plan to only use two credits per meal, then you could have many left over by the end of your stay. This could give you the ability to try several Signature Dining restaurants or you could possibly even downgrade your plan to the
Disney Dining Plan, which includes one Table Service, one Quick Service, and two Snack credits per person, per day.
I hope this information helps you plan many magical meals with your family! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
