We are a family of 3 ( with a 5 year old daughter) who is a major princess lover. My husband has never been to either disney land or disney world (he's a major star wars person). What is a good amount of time to stay in Disney World?

Hi Natalie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

Do you want my fantasy answer or a real answer to the question of "what is a good amount of time to stay in Walt Disney World Resort"?  In my magical fantasy world of course the answer would be forever, which is why my family and I keep coming back to The Most Magical Place on Earth yEAR after yEAR.  There's just something so magical about waking up to the sun rising over Cinderella Castle, meeting and greeting your favorite character pals from your childhood, and watching your own little ones soak up the sunshine as they walk right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. to classic attractions like "it's a small world" and Peter Pan's Flight.

Since it will be the first time for the majority of your party I would definitely suggest taking the time to visit each of the four Theme Parks.  With a Standard Theme Park Ticket, you and your family will be able to visit one Theme Park per day, making a 4-day visit almost essential! I'm positive that your little princess will adore the fantasy and wonder of Magic Kingdom, the incredible neighborhoods that will transport her around the world and beyond at EPCOT, and the fantastic creatures and attractions that you'll find at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  Plus, since you mention your husband is a Star Wars fan, you just HAVE to take the time to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Not only will he enjoy Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and a stop at Oga's Cantina, your daughter will most likely love being immersed in the world of Woody and Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story Land!

When it comes to finding your daughter's favorite princesses, make sure to take the time to visit Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom, wander the countries of World Showcase at EPCOT to see Princess Jasmine in the Morocco Pavilion, Anna and Elsa in the Norway Pavilion at Royal Sommerhus, Mulan in the China Pavilion and even Belle right in France! Also, plan on taking the time to see some of these and other favorite characters in the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom.

As you continue planning, feel free to stop by and see us again!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
