Hi Sadie-renee,
Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by today with this really important question! Disney is committed to making sure all Guests and Cast Members alike can enjoy The Most Magical Place on Earth as safely as possible, so there are a few
changes you'll want to make sure you're aware of before you travel.
Whether you're looking to
take off on the wildest ride in the wilderness,
soar on the back of a banshee, or
work together to defeat Evil Emperor Zurg, you and any fellow Mouseketeers ages two and up will need to keep face coverings on throughout the duration of all of the attractions. Actually, masks must cover your nose and mouth at all times with only a few exceptions. You will be allowed to remove your face coverings when you're enjoying the swimming pools, taking a break at a
Relaxation Station, or eating or drinking, as long as you are stationary and physically distanced from all other Guests. I'm happy to let you know that during my family's recent visit, our entire family of seven did fine wearing masks all day long. Of course, we followed some of the
fantastic tips that my fellow planDisney panelists had shared about mask-wearing, and I'd definitely recommend that you and your crew do the same.
As you're thinking through the details of traveling to Walt Disney World Resort right now, one other big change that I want to make sure you know about is that
Disney Parks Pass reservations are required in addition to valid theme park tickets for admission. I'd encourage you to check the
availability calendar ahead of time, then make those reservations as soon as you've purchased your tickets so that your spot in the theme parks is guaranteed!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Sadie-renee, and please feel free to come see us again with any other questions! I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
